WeavingIn 1988, E. Smyth McKissick, Jr. became Chairman of the Board, and his son, E. Smyth McKissick III became President of Alice Manufacturing. Recognizing that technological upgrades were needed to remain competitive, McKissick III approved the first multi-million dollar investment in “Air Jet” weaving in 1991. Additional upgrades were made in 1999, 2008 and 2013 to keep pace with the current global textile marketplace.
